What happens next

Open the file
Click Interloper.exe in your browser's download list, or open your Downloads folder and double-click it.

If a blue box says "Windows protected your PC"
Click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for every new program until enough people have run it. If you don't see the box, skip this step.

Click Yes
Windows asks "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" Interloper needs that permission to look in the places malware hides. Scanning still changes nothing.

Choose Run now or Install
Run now opens Interloper straight away and installs nothing. Install adds it to your Start menu so it's there next time.

Follow the installer
Click through the install wizard. Interloper is added to your Start menu and opens when it's done.

Click Initiate scan
Leave the PC alone for about 15 seconds while Interloper watches how programs behave. The whole check takes one to three minutes, then you get your verdict.
